SILOAM MISSION'S Facebook post:
A few weeks ago, Cindy from Threads of Hope from St. Saviour's Anglican Church stopped by with a very special gift. Twenty-eight bright, handcrafted backpacks, made with love, were given to us for community members. Each backpack took nine 9.5 hours to create.
This project has been in the works for some time, as Katie and Margot, members of our Siloam team, worked with Cindy to iron out the details of how her team could craft backpacks that would be most useful for those we serve. In the end, we are left with twenty-eight carefully crafted backpacks that will serve our community well.
Thank you, Threads of Hope!
